A little care goes a long way. Wood wick candles burn a little differently from cotton wicks, so here's how to get the cleanest, longest-lasting burn from your Cherry's Flame candle.
Trim your wick
Keep your wood wick trimmed to 1/8"–1/4" before each burn. This helps prevent soot and keeps your candle burning clean.
Let it melt
On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar (about 2–4 hours). This prevents tunneling and gives you the most fragrance.
Burn time
Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. This keeps your candle safe and lasting longer.
Watch the flame
A wood wick flame is larger than a cotton wick flame. If it gets too high, gently put it out, trim the wick, and relight.
Keep it clean
Remove any carbon buildup or debris from the wax pool before each burn.
Safety first
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, drafts and anything flammable, and always burn on a heat-safe surface.
